Funeral services for Harvey A. Boethel, 80, of Cat Spring, Texas were held
on Monday, August 25, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church in
Sealy with Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial followed at 1 p.m. at Memorial
Oaks Cemetery, in Houston.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Davis, Chris Wilson, Joey Kopycinski, Jordan
Kopycinski, Alan Uhlig and Melton Jones.
Harvey Adolph Boethel was born November 15, 1922 in Hallettsville, Texas
to parents, Walter and Erna (Eilert) Boethel. He was raised in the
Hallettsville area and attended the Boethel Public School near
Hallettsville.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. On
July 23, 1953, he married Lottie Andreas in Oklahoma. He worked for
Houston Welding Supply as a salesman and also at Sealy Welding Supply in Sealy.
Mr. Boethel was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy and the
Bernardo Volunteer Fire Dept. He loved to hunt and fish, working in his
garden and raise his cattle.
Harvey A. Boethel passed away Friday, August 22, 2003 in Houston.
He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Shirley and L.J. Franklin son,
Gary Boethel of Houston, mother of his children, Angie Boethel of Houston,
sister Evelyn Boatman of Percy, Arkansas, brother and sister-in-law
Everett and Jean Boethel of Bevins, Texas, special friend Anita Uhlig of Bernardo,
grandchildren, Rhonda Davis, Donna Kopycinski, Jimmy Davis and Chris
Wilson and nine great grandchildren.
Mr. Boethel was preceded in death by parents Walter and Erna Boethel and
wife Lottie Boethel.

Atchison St., Sealy, Texas 77474 or Bernardo Volunteer Fire Department.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Knesek Bros. Funeral
Chapel, Sealy, Texas.
