Annie Kmiec Brending, 81, of Brenham died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 in
Trinity Medical Center in Brenham.
Annie was born July 17, 1922 in Chappell Hill, Texas to Pete and Hattie
Kmiec. She was baptized in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill
and confirmed on October 24, 1940 in the same church. On July 3, 1948 she
married Edward Brending in Brenham, Texas.
She was a homemaker and loved
gardening. Annie was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell
Hill and the Altar Society.
Survivors include her sons Johnnie Brending of Wesley and Roger Brending and
wife Linda of La Grange; daughters Florence Krause and special friend Larry
Kaigler of Industry and Mary Jozwiak and husband Charles of Wesley;
daughter-in-law Sheryl Brending of Industry; 5 grandchildren, Tammy Adams
and special friend Wain Utter of Industry, Joey Krause and wife Christy of
Industry, Tracy Ripple and husband Jared of Bellville, Keith Jozwiak of
Wesley and Frank Brending of Brenham, and 3 great grandchildren, Samantha
Krause, Kaleb Adams and Jared Krause all of Industry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Brending, and sons
Edward Brending Jr.
The funeral Mass was offered at 10 a.m. Friday, October 24 in St. Stanislaus
Catholic Church in Chappell Hill with Rev. Gene Shepard, officiant. Burial
was in Wesley Brethren Church Cemetery in Wesley.
Memorials may be given to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel Brenham, Texas.
