Funeral services for Jean Cannon Chandler, 66, of Cat Spring, were held
Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Shepherd's Way Church in Sealy with
Rev. Frank Lucas officiating. A graveside service was held at Forest Park
Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
Pallbearers serving were Daniel Ballard, Tonie Brazeal, Robert Cannon, Roddy Chandler, Mary Chandler and Tom Chandler.
Born in Houston, Texas, Jean was the daughter of William G. and Lucille
(Menn) Cannon. She was raised in Houston and attended Charles H. Milby
High School in Houston, Texas. The former Jean Cannon married Rod Chandler
August 7, 1971 with ceremony held in San Antonio, Texas. Mrs. Chandler was best
known for her cake decorating for any occasion. She was a member of
Shepherd's Way Church in Sealy, Texas.
Jean Cannon Chandler died Friday, June 27, 2003 in Bellville, Texas.
Survivors are her husband Roderick Donald Chandler, mother Lucille Cannon,
daughter Terry Brazeal and her husband Tonie, stepdaughter Kathleen
Chandler Morriss, son Roderick "Roddy" Donald Chandler and his wife Helena,
stepsons Thomas, Bruce and David Chandler, sister Georgie Cannon, brother Paul
Cannon and his wife Sharon, grandchildren Daniel, Amber, Kristen, Ricky, Lisa,
Misty, Marlee, Tommy, Bobby, Heather, Gabriella, Elizabeth, Andriana,
Amanda and Sarah and great grandchildren Ethan and Brett.
Preceded in death by her father William George "Bill" Cannon.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Sealy, Texas.
