Funeral services for Ruby J. Gross were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday,
Nov. 19, 2003 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastors
Matt and Robert Groenke. Interment followed in La Grange City
Cemetery.
She was born April 12, 1936 in New Ulm, Texas to parents Hugo and
Isabella (Reeder) Schutte. On Dec. 4, 1955 she married Wilbert Gross
in La Grange. She was a retired school cafeteria worker. She was a
member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and a member of Sons
of Hermann Plum Lodge #238.
Ruby J. Gross, 67, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003 in La Grange, Texas
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Wilbert Gross of La
Grange,
daughter Carmen Gross of LaGrange and son Byron Gross of La Grange
and
granddaughter Vivian Elizabeth Gest.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of St. Paul
Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Services were under the direction of Koenig & Strickland Funeral
Home, La
Grange, Texas.
