Funeral services for Louise Hall, 97, of Sealy, Texas were
held Wednesday,
June 11, 2003 at 10 a.m. from First United Methodist Church in
Sealy with Rev. John Tyler officiating. Interment was at Hope Lutheran
Memorial Park Cemetery in Buckholts, Texas at 2:30 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers were Samuel C. Cass, Clifford D. Cass,
Clifford
Dale
Cass II, L.L. Hall, Floyd Eickenhorst and Russell M. Cass.
Louise Eickenhorst was born in Milam County, Texas to parents
Henry and Sophie Dakel Eickenhorst. She was raised in Milam County and
attended
Fuchs
Public School, was baptized into the Lutheran Church as a
young child and
in
1924 was confirmed into the Hope Lutheran Church at Buckholts,
Texas. In
1971 she joined the United Methodist Church in Cameron, Texas
and after
moving to Sealy in 1979 had her membership transferred here.
She has
resided
in Sealy for the last 24 years.
On March 5, 1929 she married
Johnnie Hall
in Sharp, Texas. Mrs. Hall was a member of First United
Methodist Church
in
Sealy, belonged to Sunday School, United Methodist Women's
Society, Sealy
A.A.R.P., helped deliver Meals on Wheels with Mrs. Erma Gosler
for a
number
of years and was a lifelong homemaker.
Louise Hall died Monday, June 9, 2003 in Sealy, Texas.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Sam and Delores
Cass of
Sealy, stepson and daughter-in-law Kenneth and Gloria Hall of
San Jose,
California, stepdaughter Charlotte H. Cordisco of Los Gatos,
California,
sisters Lillie Raney of The Woodlands, Effie Hall of Baytown
and Clara
Griffith of Austin, brother Henry Eichenhorst and wife Hattie of
Burlington,
sister-in-law Bobbie Eichenhorst of Baytown, grandsons, Samuel
and wife
Genie Cass, Clifford and wife Cindy Cass and Russell Cass of
Bellville,
great grandchildren David, Dale, Kathy, Chris, Caleb and
Kelsie Cass,
numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren of
California.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Hall, parents
Henry and
Sophie Eickenhorst, daughter Irene Hall, son Lucky Lee Hall
and stepson
George Hall, six sisters and three brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist
Church,
Memorial Committee, 200 Atchison, Sealy, Texas 77474.
Funeral services were held under the direction of Knesek
Family Funeral
Chapels, Sealy, Texas.
