Funeral services for Mary Hinze, 95, of Sealy, Texas were held Saturday,
June 21, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark
Anderson officiating. Interment was at Sealy Cemetery in Sealy.
Serving as pallbearers were Carl L. Brown, Jodie Kiesewetter, Fred Hein,
Jr., Henry Ganske, Henry Schneider, and Robert Richter.
Born in Millheim, Mary Edna Kiesewetter was the daughter of Carl and Ida
(Dahms) Kiesewetter. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran
faith on November 10, 1923 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Gay Hill, Texas.
She married Hugo William Hinze on November 16, 1927 at St. Paul Lutheran
Church in Wallis. She and Hugo lived on a farm for 32 years in Rexville community
until he passed away on July 27, 1959. She then moved to the town of
Sealy.
She lived at Silver Lakes Retirement Community until she went to Colonial
Belle Nursing Home. Mary was a member of the Ladies Aid and Trinity
Lutheran Church.
Mary Edna Hinze passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2003 in Sealy, Texas.
Survived by one sister Minnie Reinecker of Wallis, as well as numerous
nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Hugo Hinze, parents Carl and Ida
Dahms Kiesewetter, brothers August, Robert, Max, Charlie, Alfred and
Walter Kiesewetter, sisters Hattie Brown, Frieda Reader, Annie Ganske and Erna
Delhorst.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Sealy, Texas.
