Eva Loraine Rasmussen Kenter was born June 7, 1916 in Pierce, Texas,
the daughter of Carl and Annie Kate Bennetsen Rasmussen. She grew up
and attended school in the Pierce-El Campo-Wharton area. After
graduating from high school, she moved to Galveston to work.
She was united in marriage with Leslie Fred Kenter on July 16, 1939
in Galveston. They made their home in Galveston for 1 year before
moving to Bellville where they were members of St. John Lutheran
Church. Leslie preceded Eva in death in November 1975.
