Funeral services for Wayne May of Frelsburg, Texas were held Tuesday,
October 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg, Texas
with Rev. Bill Mosley and Rev. Gene Fitzwater officiating.
Interment
followed in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Frelsburg, Texas. A Prayer
service was held on Monday, October 27, 2003 at 7 p.m. at Henneke Funeral
Home in Columbus, Texas.
Pallbearers were Scotty Mueller, Weldon Mueller, Daniel Gaskamp, Jimmy
Eickhoff, William Klingsporn, Wade Eilers, Glenn Wellbrock and Allen Wickel.
Honorary pallbearers were San Bernard Electric employees.
He was born in Brenham, Texas, January 25, 1952 to parents Quindell E. and
Delphine M. (Maresh) May. On November 3, 1979 Wayne May was united in
marriage with the former Terry Eilers. He had been a resident of Frelsburg,
Texas since 1979.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg,
where he was a former member of the Church Council and a member of the
Frelsburg Fire Department. He had been employed by San Bernard Electric Coop
for 13 years and was a retired staking technician.
Wayne May, 51, passed away October 24, 2003 at River Oaks Health Care Center
in Columbus, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Terry May of Frelsburg; daughter Stacy May of
Austin; son Cody May of Frelsburg; mother Delphine May of Brenham;
grandmother Mary Maresh of Deanville; and sister Janis Mueller of Brenham.
He was preceded in death by his father Quindell E. May.
Funeral services were entrusted to Henneke Funeral Home, Columbus, Texas.
