Funeral services for Margaret Ongman, 94, of Sealy, Texas were held
Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 11 a.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in
Sealy, Texas with Rev. John Tyler officiating. Interment was at the Sealy
Cemetery.
Pallbearers serving were Richard Flowers, Carl Johnson, Dewayne Johnson
and John Harvey.
Born in Cook County Chicago, Illinois, Margaret was the daughter of Johnand Ursula (Mossburger) Nelson. She was raised in Chicago, and attended
Chicago schools.
The former Margaret Nelson married Elmer Howard Theede in Chicago
and after his death, she married Harry Ongman. She was a lifelong
homemaker who loved gardening and sewing.
Margaret Ongman died Saturday, July 5, 2003 in Bellville, Texas.
Her survivors were her daughter Joy Johnson of Sealy, sister Madeline Bell
of Anacortes, Washington, grandchildren Debbie Flowers, Margie Johnson,
Carl Johnson and Dewayne Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Ursula Nelson, husband
Elmer Howard Theede, husband Harry Ongman, sister Louise Le Veille, Joan
DeMayo and brothers Edmund and Henry Nelson.
