Funeral services for Lucille Parkin, 55, of Houston (formerly of
Woonsocket, Rhode Island) were held Monday, September 15, 2003 at 12 noon from St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek with Rev. Bernard Snock celebrating the
funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was at the Sealy Cemetery in
Sealy, Texas.
Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Lucille was the daughter of Allan Trank
and Louise McDermit Trank.
She was raised in Woonsocket and graduated from
St. Clare High School. The former Miss Lucille Trank and Mr. James E,.
Parkin were married in 1969 with ceremony held in Woonsocket. Lucille
worked as a secretary for Die and Tool Service in Houston. She was a member of
Notre Dame Catholic Church in Houston.
Lucille Trank Parkin died Saturday, September 13, 2003 at her home in
Houston, Texas.
Survived by her husband, James E. Parkin of Houston, daughter and
son-in-law Lisa and Frank Moore of Houston, brother Allan Trank of Millville,
Massachusetts, grandsons Bryan Joshua Moore, Christian Tyler Moore, (son
to be born) granddaughter Samantha Ann Moore, and a number of nieces, nephews
and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents Allan and Louise Trank, and her brother
Peter Trank.
