Funeral services for Leora Parr, 86, of Wallis, Texas, were held
Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 10 a.m. from the Knesek and Sons Funeral Chapel in
Wallis with Rev. Howard Boyd officiating,
Pallbearers for the service were Travis Parr, J.R. Parr, Donnie Parr,
Billy Parr, Jack Mangrum and Gary Korenek.
Interment was at Wallis City Cemetery in Wallis.
Born in Belton, Texas, Leora Bell Warren was the daughter of Walter Marvin
Warren and Johnnie McNeal Fitzhugh Warren. She was raised in Bell County
and attended Bell Country public schools. On August 25, 1933, Leora and Mr.
Claude Parr were married with ceremony held in Cuero, Texas. Mrs. Parr was
a full-time homemaker.
Leora Bell Parr died Saturday, August 30, 2003 in Wharton, Texas.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Raymond Sr. and Jo Ann Parr
of Needville, Bill Parr Sr. and Bernadette of Wallis, Truman and Josephine
Parr of Cat Spring, grandchildren Doris, Travis and J.R. Parr, Dawn Mangrum and
husband Jack, Nancy Parr, Lisa Korenek and husband Gary, Billy Parr Jr.
and wife Katie, Donnie Parr, great grandchildren Christopher, Steven, Caitlen,
Shelby, Lane, Braidyn and Rhyleigh.
Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Johnie Warren, husband Claude
Parr, brothers Floyd, Edward, Walter and J.D. Warren, sisters Viola,
Dessie, Elenora and Doris Warren.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Sealy, Texas.
