Funeral services for Aurora Sandoval, 59, of Waller were held on Monday,
October 20, 2003 from National Cemetery near Nelsonville at 11 a.m. with
Elder Patrick McKinney officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Elias Sandoval, Carlos Soto, Isreal Mendes, Luis
Mendez, Russell Lawson, and Francisco Perez. Interment was in the National
Cemetery.
Aurora Sandoval was born in Brookside Texas to parents Emilio and Mary
Esther (Tamayo) Fernandez. She was raised in the Pearland area and attended
school there. On October 22, 1969, she married Mr. Miguel Sandoval. A
homemaker all her life, she devoted her time to care and well being of their
children and later grandchildren. A member of the Jehovah Witness Church,
she and Miguel lived in Waller, Texas.
Aurora Sandoval died on Thursday, October 16, 2003 in Tomball.
She is survived by her husband Miguel Sandoval of Waller, Daughters
Elizabeth Lynn Sillavan of Frydek, Mary Esther Rodriguez and husband Jaime
of Hempstead, son Charles Sandoval and wife Patty of Bleiblerville, sisters
Guadalupe Balboa and husband Hector of Houston, Angelita Sandoval and
husband Jesus of Houston, Isabell Zendejas and husband Ignacio of Houston,
and Mary Linda Ramos of Houston, brothers Frank Fernandez and Emilio
Fernandez both of Brookside, grandchildren Elaina Lord, Issac Lord, Sara
Soto, Carlos Soto, Elias Sandoval, Natalie Sandoval, Michael Sandoval,
Meghan Sandoval, Sabrina Sandoval, and Marcella Sandoval.
Aurora was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Mary Esther
Fernandez and seven siblings.
Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Bellville, Texas.
