Funeral services for Annie Lee Schroeder, 88, of LaGrange were held at 10
a.m. Monday, July 28, 2003 at Saint Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Interment was at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery at Industry.
Pallbearers were Trey and Tommy Marik, Mark Powell, Reuben Maas, John
Russell, John D. Marbuger and Izae East.
Honorary Pallbearers were Jimmy
Marik, Dean Winkler, Lloyd Goehring, Dr. Leland Zatopek.
She was born Oct. 20, 1914 in Industry Texas the daughter of William F.
and Lenora Knolle Boelsche. On Dec. 6, 1939 she married Louis J. Schroeder.
She taught elementary school in LaGrange, Port Arthur, Houston, San Antonio
and McAllen and was co-owner of Schroeder Drug Store. She was a member of
Saint Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a member of the afternoon circle
of the women of the E.L.C.A., Charter member of Fayette Hospital Auxiliary
and the Industry Historical Society.
Annie Lee Schroeder, passed away Friday, July 25, 2003 at Brackenridge
Hospital in Austin Texas.
Survived by her husband Louis J. Schroeder of La Grange, sister-in-law
Audrey Boelsche of La Grange, sister Rosalyn Marik, numerous nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Grover, Roy, Bennie,
Edwin, Alfred and Leslie Boelsche and sisters Alice Belt, Esther Theuman,
Cora Brown and Laura Bonjour.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pal Lutheran Church of to the
charity of your choice.
Services were under the direction of Koenig & Strickland funeral Home in
La Grange.
