Funeral services for Raymond Morris Schroeder, 93, of Morgan's Point,
Texas were held Friday, June 27, 2003 at 10 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church
with Rev. Dale Leland officiating. Interment was at the Sealy Cemetery in
Sealy, Texas.
Pallbearers were Matthew Vicenik, Vincent Vicenik, Jim Glock and Mark
Vicenik.
Born in Peters Community, Raymond was the son of Charles and Melanie
(Balke) Schroeder. He attended the Hacienda School. Raymond married Irene Amsler
April 8, 1937 with ceremony held in Sealy, Texas.
Mr. Schroeder worked at the Sealy Oil Mill after World War II and was a machinist with Cameron Iron works for 25 years. He loved to fish and played baseball at Peters
community. Raymond was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the
International Machinist Union.
Raymond Morris Schroeder died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 in Deer Park,
Texas.
Survivors are his daughter June Vicenik and husband Louis, Jr. of Morgan's
Point, Texas, brother C.W. Schroeder and wife Mary of Sealy, grandchildren
Matthew and Vincent Vicenik.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Melanie Schroeder, wife
Irene Schroeder, sisters Magnolia Amsler, Lillie Pless, Mary Hillebrand,
brothers Edmund and Fritz Schroeder.
