Funeral services for Ricky Wayne Syptak, 38, of Bellville, Texas were held
Friday, July 18, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Nelsonville Brethren Church in
Nelsonville with Rev. Milton Maly officiating. Interment was at the
National Cemetery near Nelsonville.
Pallbearers serving were Sam Heritage, John Ashley Syptak, Scott Allan
Syptak, Robert Calvert, Don Dreyer and Steve Knoll.
Honorary pallbearers
serving were Stanley Cendalski, Jeffrey Heritage, Elton Ware, II, and
Kevin King.
Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Ricky was the son of D.J. and Joyce (Wofford)
Syptak. He was raised in Bellville and graduated from Bellville High
School. Ricky was a cattle rancher and he worked for Four County Auction
for ten years, Stanley Cendalski and Delphine Merkel both for five years. He
was a member of Nelsonville Brethren Church, Sons of Hermann, SPSJT and the
FFA.
Ricky enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also very committed to taking
care of his grandmother Vlasta Syptak.
Ricky Wayne Syptak died July 15, 2003 in Brenham, Texas.
His survivors are parents D.J. and Joyce Syptak of Nelsonville,
grandmother Vlasta Syptak of Nelsonville, sister Lisa Heritage and husband Sam of
Bleiblerville, aunts and uncles John Syptak, Jr. and wife Shirley of
Nelsonville, Judy Wright and husband Everett of Cat Spring, Kitty Little
of Houston, Dudley Ware of Orange, niece and nephew Jeffrey and Mackenzie
Heritage, cousins John and Scott Syptak, Jason Wright, Gaylyn Little,
Shanna and Rachel Chatlosh, Cindy Kyle, Dudley Elton Ware, II and Kevin King.
Preceded in death by his grandparents Ethelyn and Frankie Wofford, Johnny
Syptak, Sr., Aunt Jane Ware and Uncle Larry Little.
