Anita M. Thielemann, 88, of Industry passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2003
in Trinity Medical Center.
She was born December 26, 1914 in Welcome to
Willie and Frances (Posival) Schulz. On July 4, 1915 she was baptized in
Wesley Brethren Church and confirmed May 29, 1929 in Welcome Lutheran Church
by Pastor Jacob Appel. She also attended school in Welcome.
She was married
to Lonnie Thielemann on November 22, 1934 in Welcome Lutheran Church by
Pastor Wm. Utesch and became a homemaker. Anita loved the outdoors,
gardening, farming and ranching. She remained an active member of Welcome
Lutheran Church having taught Sunday school for over 40 years, and sang in
the choir and led the Bible study group.
Her survivors include son Marvin L. Thielemann and wife Geraldine of
Houston; 2 grandchildren Dr. Gregory Thielemann and Dave Fenton of Dallas
and Kimberly and David Hansen of Coppell, Texas; 3 great grandchildren
Collin, Haley and Abbey Hansen; sister Viola Kramer of Wesley; sister-in-law
Lillian Schulz of Welcome and Elsie Thielemann of Brenham; brother-in-law
Raymond Priesmeyer and wife Viola of Bellville; also numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Lonnie on October 25, 1974;
brother Adolph Schulz; brother-in-law Erwin Kramer; sister-in-law Esther
Schulz and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2003 in Welcome
Lutheran Church. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Schulz, James Schulz, Wilbert Thielemann, Raymond
Posival and Henry Schmidt, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Alvin Schulz, Dr. H.
O'Kunkel and Benjamin Spiess.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Welcome Lutheran Church.
Funeral arrangements were in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, Brenham,
Texas.
