Funeral services for Felix Frank Twardowski, 74, of Katy, Texas were held
Friday, August 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. from Guardian Angel Catholic Church in
Wallis with Reverend Charles Kelly celebrating the funeral mass and rite
of committal. Interment was at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Wallis.
Serving as pallbearers were Lidge Eder, A.D. Bodle, Steve Muzny, Cecil
Verm Jerry Kolafa and Robert Jetelina.
Born in Wallis, Felix was the son of John and Rose (Kopycinski)
Twardowski.
He attended Guardian Angel Catholic School. On September 24, 1960 Felix
married Vlasta Fajkus and they made their home in Katy and attended
Brookshire and Katy Catholic Churches. Felix was a member of K.J.T. and
Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. He was a heavy equipment operator
for T-T Construction of Tomball for over 30 years until physical disability
caused his retirement. After serious ill health in May 1998 he resided in
Brookshire Nursing Home until his recent hospitalization.
Felix Frank Twardowski died Tuesday, August 19, 2003 in Katy.
He is survived by his sons, Jim and wife Barbara of Mandeville, LA and
Felix, Jr. of Brookshire, Texas, one grandson, Weston of Mandeville, LA,
sisters Veronica Tupa, Vicki Baca, Gertrude Allen, brothers Vance, Emil,
Victor and Michael Twardowski.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Vlasta, parents, sisters,
Monica Craven and Teresa Twardowski, brothers Steve, Bernard and Johnnie.
