NICKOLUS UECKERT
Bellville Times Nickolus Ueckert was born March 8, 1999 in Elmhurst, Illinois. He is the son of Nikki and Eddie Ueckert. He has made his home in Bellville for the past 2 1/2 years where he attended Shady Acres Day Care Center. Nick enjoyed gymnastics, his computer and watching football. He also loved the Thomas the Train Series, his dog Zeppelin and his 5 cats. Nickolus passed away suddenly November 11, 2003 in a Houston hospital. He was 4 years old. He is survived by his parents Nikki and Eddie Ueckert of Bellville, brother Alex Ueckert of Waco and sister Stacey Ueckert, also of Waco. He is also survived by his grandparents Dr. V.H. and Rosanne B. Ueckert of Columbus and Nick and Colleen Ybarra of Hempstead, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Bellville with Reverend Guy Williams officiating. Private family interment followed in the Ueckert Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were Junior Vasquez, Scott Lakey, Carry Barnhart and Melvin Flentge. Honorary pallbearers were David Barry and Jim Barry. In lieu of usual remembrances, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Austin County Education Co-op Bellville, I.S.D. Speech Therapy Program, Attention: Colleen Renfrow, 1727 Eagle Lake Road, Sealy, Texas 77474 or to the Shady Acres Day Care Center for the Thomas The Train Series Project, 312 South Front Street, Bellville, Texas 77418 in memory of Nickolus.
