Funeral services for Johnny Weeber, Sr., 68, of Sealy, Texas were held
Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in
Sealy with Rev. Milton Maly officiating. Interment was at the Sealy Cemetery in
Sealy.
Pallbearers for the service were Max Zapalac, Jr., Randy Dvorak, Michael
Knesek, Don Parson, Julio Zavala, Jr. and Ralph Meyer.
Born in Caldwell, Texas Johnny Weeber was the son of George and Fannie
Odstreil Weeber. He was raised in Cook's Point and attended Cook's Point
Public School. Johnny served his country in the U.S. Army during the
Korean Conflict.
On November 23, 1957, Mr. Johnny Weeber and the former Miss
Glennie Prazak were married with ceremony held in Caldwell. Mr. Weeber was
a plant operator for an asphalt plant. Johnny loved cattle and working in
his yard.
Johnny Weeber, Sr., died Monday, August 4, 2003 at his home in Sealy.
Survived by his wife Glennie Weeber of Sealy, daughter Beverly Zapalac and
husband Max, Jr. of Sealy, son Johnny Weeber, Jr. and wife Sandra of
Sealy, sisters Irene Perry of Caldwell, Erna Beran and husband Franklin of
Caldwell, brothers William Weeber of Caldwell, Oscar Weeber and wife
Hilda of Caldwell and his seven grandchildren.
