Funeral services for Lloyd Thomas Beathard, 88, of Bellville were held on Monday, Jan. 5, 2004 at 10 a.m. from Huntsville Funeral Home, in Huntsville with the Rev. Paul Beathard officiating.
Interment was held in the Adicks Addition of Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville.
Serving, as pallbearers were Glen Toman, Dale Toman, Allen Toman, Julius J. (Bubba) Toman Jr., Ben Beathard and James Beathard.
Lloyd Thomas Beathard passed away on Jan. 2, 2004 in the Houston V.A. Hospital.
Lloyd Thomas Beathard was born in Crockett on Sept. 8, 1915 to parents Abb and Annie (Hooks) Beathard.
Lloyd was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy on Jan. 12, 1946. He was then employed as a carpenter, electrician, and also worked in the refrigeration business until his retirement.
On March 17, 1984 Lloyd was married to Ruby (Schiller) Toman in Bellville.  Lloyd's pastime was spent fishing, hunting, and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Ruby Beathard of Bellville; son Ray Beathard and wife Merle of Houston; daughters Eloise Reuter and husband Larry of Corpus Christi; and Kathleen deLeon and husband Cesar of San Antonio. Also surviving are stepdaughters Karen Heinlen and husband Russell of Brenham; Glenda Druckhammer and husband Gilbert of Navasota; Kim Miranda and husband Mike of Brenham; stepsons Glen Toman and special friend Janice Kokemor of Bellville; Dale Toman and wife Kathryn of Bellville; Allen Toman of Brenham; and Julius J. (Bubba) Toman Jr. of Brenham; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
His first wife of 45 years, Gladys (Skeen) Beathard; 7 brothers; and 1 sister precede Lloyd in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Friends of Lifeline, % Ella Mae Dahse, 728 E. O'Bryant St., Bellville, Texas 77418 or the Bellville General Hospital, 44 N.  Cummings, Bellville, Texas 77418.
Funeral services were under the direction of Huntsville Funeral Home, Huntsville, Texas.
