Funeral Services for Annie Blazek, 79, of Sealy, Texas, were held Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Catholic church the Rev. Bernard Snock celebrating the funeral mass and rite of conception.
Serving as pallbearers were Greg Stilts, James Jones, Joseph Jones, Bill Sisson, Harold Hradil and Rodney Hradil. Interment was at Sealy Cemetery in Sealy. Wake Services were held Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at 7 p.m. at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy.
Annie Marie Hajovsky was born in Eastgate, Texas, the daughter of Rudolph Hajovsky and Marie Kulhanek Hajovsky. She was raised in Eastgate and attended Dayton Public Schools. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Houston, and was a retired Checker, having worked 35 years for Weingarten, Safeway, and Apple Tree grocery stores. Annie Marie Blazek died Sunday, February 29, 2004 in Sealy.
Survived by her daughters Barbara Jones of Sealy, Deborah Ballew and husband James of Houston, and Marietta Blazek also of Houston; her sister Mary Hradil of Sealy; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Marie Hajovsky; her sister Georgia Hradil; and one brother Steve Hajovsky.
Services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels of Sealy.
