Funeral services for Rachel Mary Coleman, 63, of Sealy were held Monday,
Nov. 15, 2004, at 7 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the
Rev. Bernard Snock officiating. A rosary was held at 6 p.m.
Born in St. John, Rachel Coleman was the daughter of Anton and Emma Berger
Stavinoha. She was raised in Schulenburg and attended Schulenburg Schools
and Sealy High School. Rachel was a  homemaker, she loved to help her family
and was a member of the Catholic faith.
Rachel Coleman died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004 in Katy.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, John W. Coleman, Jr. and wife,
Kathy of Mixville; sister, Vernell Kutra and husband Bennie of Sealy;
grandchildren, Amber and Bo Allen Coleman of Mixville; stepson, Dale of
Georgia; sisters-in-law, Pat Stavinoha of Conroe, and Marie Stavinoha of
Montgomery and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, Anton and Emma
Stavinoha and brothers, Harvey and Earl Stavinoha.
Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels,
Sealy.
