Bellville Times

Mary Alice Gourley passed away may 4, 2004 in Houston, Texas.
She was born in Kenney, on April 14, 1926 to Collins M. and Alice Lynn. She
attended school in Kenney and graduated from Bellville High School and
attended and graduated from business school in Houston.
She is survived by her son Charles Her. Gourley II and wife Bobbie of La
Porte; daughter Wanda Tevay and husband Robert of Dayton; brother B.Y. Lynn
and wife Peggy of Bellville; sister-in-law Doris Lynn of Kenney; 5
grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Mary Alice was preceded in death by her husband,  Charles Her. Gourley,
parents, step-mother, Bertha Peters Lynn, and brothers, J. M. "Red", Ed, and
Tom Lynn. 
Services were held Friday, May 7th, 2004 from Paul U. Lee Funeral Chapel in
La Porte. Interment was at La Porte Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mary Alice Gourley to the
American Cancer Society.
