Memorial services for Dwayne L. Gross, 44, of New Ulm were held Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004 at 3 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm with the Rev. Bill Mosley officiating.

Dwayne Lyndon Gross was born to parents Milford and Lucille Hegemeyer Gross in Bellville. He attended the Bellville High School as well as T.S.T.I. in Waco, Texas. Dwayne served his country in the United States Navy where he trained in aviation. On May 1, 1993, he married the former Staci Krueger in Bellville. He was a fan of drag racing, football and trail riding. Dwayne was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

He passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at his home in New Ulm.

Survivors include his wife, Staci Gross of New Ulm,; daughters Kelli
Schroeder and husband Steve of Kountze, Nicole Davis of New Ulm, and Kristina Gross of New Ulm; son Nickolas Davis of New Ulm; grandchild, Macy Parks; parents Milford and Lucille Gross of Bellville; brothers Michael Gross and wife Monica of Sealy, Kyle R. Gross and close friend Georgina Larkin of Austin; grandmother Norma Gross of New Ulm; grandfather, Edward Hegemeyer of New Ulm; father and mother-in-law Wesley and Audrey Krueger of Bellville.

He was preceded in deather by his grandmother Viola Hegemeyer; grandfather Davey Gross; aunt Ruby Gross; and uncle Kirby Gross.
