Funeral services for Henry W. Hillboldt, 89, of
Cat Spring were held at 2
p.m. on Thursday Feb. 26, 2004 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in
Sealy with
the Rev. John Tyler officiating. Interment was in the St. John's
Lutheran
Cemetery in Cat Spring. Pallbearers for the service were Aubrey
Landrum,
David Maresh, Bubba Orsak, Bobby Orsak, Butch Rabius and Jeff Haugen
with
honorary pallbearers, Clarence Dittert, Leaburn Tipp, Tom Godwin,
Marvin Peikert, and Billy Wehring.
Henry William Hillboldt was born in Cat Spring to parents
William and
Deborah Brune Hillboldt. He was raised in Cat Spring and attended
Cleveland
Public School. On January 19, 1938, he married the former Miss
Luella
Doernbrack at the Doernbrack homeplace in Cat Spring and was a
farmer and
rancher. Mr. Hillboldt was a member of the First United Methodist
Church in
Sealy, the Methodist Men's Club, honory member of the Cat Spring
Volunteer
Fire Deparment, former Director of the Austin County Farm Bureau and
loved
to fish and hunt. He died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 in Katy.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Luella Hillboldt of Cat
Spring;
daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Johnny Class of Sealy;
grandchildren
Kevin Class, Kari Witt and husband Rick, and Kelly Class;
great-grandchild, Zachary Witt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Deborah
Hillboldt;
sisters Leola Garling and Evelyn Oldag.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cat Spring Volunteer Fire
Department or your charity of choice. Funeral services were held
under the
direction of the Knesek Family Funeral Chapel of Sealy.
