Funeral services for Method C. Hosak, 93, of Sealy, were held Monday, May 3, 2004 at 10 a.m. from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek with the Rev. Bernard Snock celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Frydek. Serving as pallbearers were Matt Sodolak, Chad Sodolak, Brad Shill, Kyle Stevenson, Kory Stevenson and Dean Fitzpatrick. Born in Cistern, Method was the son of Method and Frances Janacek Hosak. He was raised in Cistern and attended school in Cistern. Method was a carpenter for much of his life. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. On November 12, 1949, Method was joined in marriage to the former Miss Annie Orsak with a ceremony held in Frydek. Method was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a K.J.T. member for 54 years. Method C. Hosak died April 29, 2004 in Houston. He is survived by his daughters, Rosie Sodolak of Frydek, Anne Gardner and husband Eddie and Patsy Stevenson and husband Kurth, all of Houston; sons, Willie Hosak of Wallis and Rick Hosak of Frydek; grandchildren, Kristen Shill and husband Brad, Matt Sodolak and wife Tiffany, Chad Sodolak and wife Latisha, Holly Sodolak, Kory, Kyle and Ashley Stevenson, Ryan Hosak and Carrie Fitzpatrick and husband Dean; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Shill, Luke Sodolak and Jaxon Fitzpatrick. He is preceded in death by his parents, Method and Frances Hosak; and wife, Annie Hosak. Memorial contributions may be made to H.O.A. Meals on Wheels, 510 Second Street, Sealy, Texas, 77474.
