Graveside services for Louis V. Janczak, 81, of Cleveland, formerly of Bellville, were held Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville with the Rev. Tim Bucek officiating. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren, Jon, Tony and Chris Janczak, Kelley Bauer, Jamie, Nick, Noah, Nathaniel and Alex Janczak. Born in the Cochran Community of Austin County, Louis Vice Janczak was the son of Joseph and Pauline Klevenski Janczak. He attended the Ives Creek Public School in Austin County. On Dec. 27, 1947, Louis and the former Miss Louise Syzdek were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston. Louis was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cleveland, and a charter member of the V.F.W. Cleveland. Louis served in the United States Army during World War II, Company K, 134th Infantry Regiment. Louis received a Purple Heart for wounds he received in Central Europe. He was retired, having worked as a glass and trim technician for Ford Motor Company Auto Manufacturing and for Don McMillian Ford, for a total of 35 years. Louis V. Janczak died Sunday, October 24, 2004 in Floresville. He is survived by his wife Louise A. Janczak of Cleveland; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and JoEtta Janczak of Bellville, David and Jodie Janczak of The Woodlands, Mike and Dana Janczak of Cleveland; grandchildren Jon, Tony, and Chris Janczak, Kelley Bauer, Jamie, Nick, Noah, Nathaniel and Alex Janczak; great-grandchildren Douglas, Bauer, Ava, Joshua and Jacob Janczak, and Allie Bervyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pauline Janczak; brothers and sisters, Ed and Talbert Janczak, Annie Faterkowski, Agnes Kmiec, John Chester and Pete Janczak, and Victoria Brzymialkiewicz.
