Funeral services for Annie Klanika, 86, of Sealy were held Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 10 a.m. from Knesek Bros. Hwy 36 Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. Rusty Griffin officiating. Interment was at San Felipe Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Leo Dziadek, Ernest Dziadek, Adolph Dziadek, Calvin Skrivanek, Vernon Goebel and Mark Goebel. Pauline Anna Dziadek was born in Shiner on October 17, 1917 to parents, Rudolph and Anna Chovanec Dziadek. She was raised and attended school in Sweethome. On October 30, 1939 she was joined in marriage to John Klanika in Penelope. Annie's life is best remembered by her caring for the elderly, the love for her family and friends, and her testimony of the Lord Jesus. She was a resident of San Felipe and a member of Christian City Fellowship Church. Annie went to be with our Lord on Saturday, September 25, 2004. She is survived by a loving family: daughter and son-in-law, Annie Mae and Clint Havran of San Felipe; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Betty Klanika of Bellville; grandchildren, Dwayne Kasper and wife Melissa, Sheryl Kasper, Billy Klanika and Pauline Simon; and five great grandchildren. Annie is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Anna Dziadek; husband, John Klanika; sister, Emilie Orange; brothers, Paul, Bill and Emil Dziadek.
