Elizabeth Ann Klausmeyer, 49, of Industry, died March 5, 2004, at
her
residence.
Elizabeth was born Sept. 21, 1954, in Sealy, to Justin V. and Cora
Buxkemper
Wostarek and grew up in Frelsburg. She was baptized Sept. 26, 1954,
in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church of Frelsburg and was confirmed
April 19, 1964,
in the same church. Elizabeth attended St. Johnıs Catholic School
in
Fayetteville and graduated from Columbus High School in 1972.
On Feb. 17, 1973, she was married to Arnold Klausmeyer, Jr. in Sts.
Peter &
Paul Catholic Church of Frelsburg.
Elizabeth was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in
Industry,
where she was an Altar Society member, CCE teacher, Eucharistic
minister,
lector, minister of hospitality and rosary leader. She enjoyed
working at
Sealy Mattress Co. most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold Klausmeyer Jr. of Industry;
sons,
Jason Klausmeyer and wife Danielle of Bernardo, Ryan Klausmeyer and
Brad Klausmeyer, both of Industry; daughters, Amber Klausmeyer and Ashley
Klausmeyer, both of Industry; grandson, Corbin Klausmeyer; mother,
Cora
Wostarek of Fayetteville; brothers, Joe Wostarek and wife Cathy of
Purdy,
Missouri, Michael Wostarek and wife Dorothy of Frelsburg, Monroe
Wostarek of Frelsburg, Justin Wostarek and special friend Renee Runge of
Frelsburg and
Thomas Wostarek and wife Pam of Katy; sisters, Joyce Shupak and
husband
Johnnie of Frelsburg, Darlene Hinze and husband Billie of Round Top,
Mary
Luedke and husband Ronnie of New Ulm, Adeline Dvorak and husband
DeWayne of
Frelsburg and Lisa Moeller and husband Mike of Frelsburg;
mother-in-law,
Irene Klausmeyer of Industry; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ben
and
Dorothy Klausmeyer; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and
Ronnie
Hurtig; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Justin V. Wostarek;
brothers, Allen
Wostarek and Karl Jeffry Wostarek; and father-in-law, Arnold
Klausmeyer, Sr.
The funeral Mass began at 10 a.m. Monday, March 8 in Immaculate
Conception
Church in Industry with Father Tim Bucek and Father Wayne Flagg,
celebrants
and Deacon Gerald DuPont. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception
Cemetery in Industry.
Viewing was at Memorial Oaks Chapel from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday,
March 7,
with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A rosary and vigil for the
deceased
began at 6 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Elizabeth lay in state at the church Monday from 8 a.m. until
service time.
Pallbearers were Joe Wostarek, Michael Wostarek, Monroe Wostarek,
Justin C. Wostarek, Thomas Wostarek, Ben Klausmeyer, Ronnie Hurtig and Robert
Reichle,
Jr.
All nieces and nephews and all employees of Sealy Mattress Co. were
considered honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be given to Hospice Brazos Valley, 705 S. Austin,
Brenham,
Texas 77833 or Immaculate Conception Church in Industry.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
Main,
Brenham.
