A gathering of family and friends for Donald "Don" Klober, 68, of Bellville was held on Friday, October 8, 2004 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Don was the son of Roger and Lucille Ross Klober. He was raised in St. Paul and graduated from Central High School in St. Paul in 1954. On July 23, 1955 Don was joined in marriage to the former Miss Virginia Clausen with a ceremony held in St. Paul. Don was a casket engraver, following the foot steps of his grandfather. He later was the owner of Century 21 Real Estate in Eagan, Minnesota for 20 years. While in Eagan he was very active in the Lion's Club for over 25 years serving as the President for three different terms and voted Lion of the Year 7 times. Don also worked at the Bellville Beverage Company in Bellville for 7 years where he made many friends. Don had many hobbies that he enjoyed which included fishing, boating, guitar picking and restoring his 1959 Buick LaSabre. Donald Klober passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in Houston. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Klober of Bel1ville; mother-in-law, Lucille "Jimmy" Clausen of Bellville; daughters, Victoria "Vicki" Klooz and husband Tab of Rosemount, Minn., Jeannie Williams and husband Rod of Burnsville, Minn., and Kathy Klober of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Jolene Schricker and husband Jack of Hayward, Wis.; grandchildren, Sherry, Tammy, and Donny; and great-grandchildren, Haley, Alysa, Eryka, Lily, Mykayla, Lexi and Sadie. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Lucille Klober. Services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy. Posted by Joy Neely
