Graveside services for Glenn Ray Krebs, 49, of Burton were held on
Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at 10 a.m. from the Krebs Cemetery near Shelby with
the Rev. Glen Schoeneberg and the Rev. Larry Beck co-officiating. Interment
was in the Krebs Cemetery.
Glenn was the son of Glenn Krebs and Katherine Welch Searcy. He was raised
in Houston and attended and graduated from Spring Branch High School. He
worked as a professional truck driver. Glenn would participate in the
Washington County Bar-B-Que Cook Off every year. Glenn Ray Krebs passed away
Monday, May 24, 2004, in New Ulm.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Connie Krebs of Spring Branch;
special friend, Debra McCoy of New Ulm; daughters, Francis Krebs of Dallas,
Sherri Krebs and fiance Juwaun Smith of New Ulm, Katherine Kelly of Clear
Lake; son, James Kelly of Beaumont; sister, Raynell Thornton and husband
Daniel of Brenham; brothers, Michael Krebs of Spring Branch and Sammy Searcy
of Brenham; grandchildren, Ryan, Micheal, and Jaelynn Krebs and Brayden
Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Searcy.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapel,
Bellville.
