Funeral services for Jerome Allen Kristek, III, 33, of Bellville were held Thursday, October 14, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Hallettsville with The Rev. John Peters celebrating the Funeral Mass and Rite of Committal. Interment was at the Sacred heart Cemetery in Hallettsville. pallbearers serving were Johnnie L. Reznicek, Jr. Bradley Pekar, Joey Pekar, Tim Foeh, Travis Boehm, Ben Ward, Chris Singer, and Chester Sommer. Born in Yoakum, Jerome was the son of Jerome and Betty Fajkus Kristek, Jr. He was raised in Wallis and attended Brazos High School. Jerome was a talented auto mechanic and was currently employed at Good Old Boys in Katy. He was a member of Guardian Angel Church in Wallis. When he was working on a project, he always stayed with it until the project was finished. Jerome loved his children very much. Jerome Allen Kristek, III, died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 in Waller County. He is survived by his parents Jerome and Betty Kristek, Jr. of Wallis; daughter, Ashley Kristek of Dallas; son, Dillion Jackson of East Bernard; two aunts, Doris Sliva of Frydek and Maggie Boehm of Shiner; and grandparent, Maggie Kristek of Yoakum. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerome Kristek, Sr., and grandmother, Therese Fajkus. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Wallis.
