Memorial services for Kevin W. Kulow, 32, of Sealy were held Wednesday,
April 7, 2004 at 11:30 a.m. from Second Baptist Church on Woodway in Houston
with the Rev. Rusty Griffin and Mr. Ben Young officiating. A separate
funeral service was held on Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Christian
City Fellowship with the Rev. Rusty Griffin, and the Rev. Eldon Akerman and
Mr. Ben Young officiating. Graveside services were immediately following the
funeral service and were conducted by the Houston Fire Department Honor
Guard and the Rev. Octavio Muguerza at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in
Sealy. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery.
Born in Bellville, Kevin was the son of Daniel and Elaine Reznicek Kulow. He
was raised in Sealy and graduated from Sealy High School. Kevin went on to
further his education at Blinn Jr. College and Wharton County Jr. College.
On April 12, 1996, Kevin was joined in marriage to the former Miss Marla
Pfeffer with a ceremony held in Sealy. Kevin was a Houston Firefighter and a
member of the Sealy Volunteer Fire Department.
Kevin W. Kulow died Sunday, April 4, 2004 in Houston.
He is survived by his wife, Marla Kulow; parents, Daniel and Elaine Kulow;
son, Kyle Wayne Kulow; stepson, Justin Reynolds; sister, Kandy Wimp; and
brother, Keith Kulow.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Viola Reznicek and
Hugo and Erna Kulow and uncle, Henry F. Reznicek, Jr.
