Bellville Times

Vernita E. Lischka, 91, of New Ulm, died Saturday, July 17, 2004 in
Hallettsville.
She was born July 5, 1913 in Austin County to the late Henry and Pauline
Krause Gross.
Survivors include her daughter, Vernita Dopslauf of Sheridan; two grandons,
DeWayne Dopslauf and wife Carla of Eagle Lake, DeWight Dopslauf and wife
Kelley of Pearland; great-grand children, Danielle, Reagan, and Carlee
Dopslauf of Pearland; one niece, Adeline Luedke of New Ulm; one nephew,
Weilford Gross of Hempstead.
She was preceded in death by husband, Herbert Lischka, Jr.; and brother,
Willie Gross; son-in-law, Lawrence F. Dopslauf; and grandson Darrel J.
Dopslauf.
Visitation was on Sunday, at 6 p.m., at Kubena Funeral Home Chapel. Grave
side services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at New Ulm Cemetery, New Ulm.
