Funeral Mass for Franklin Lubojasky, of Sugar Land, beloved husband, father and grandfather, was held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5, 2004 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land. Interment followed at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. The Rev. Roy Oggero, C.S.B. officiated the services. Pallbearers were Timmy Lubojasky, Bob Livingston, Mark Abramcik, Raymond Jankowski, Ray Lubojasky, Doug Lubojasky, Frankie Collum and Rodney Lubojasky. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Lubojasky and Ricky Spinks. Visitation was from 5 p.m. through 9 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, Texas with a rosary being held at 7 p.m. Franklin was born October 13, 1922 in Kenney, to the late Frank and Annie Maresh Lubojasky. He served in the Army in World War II, and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He retired after 43 years of service from Imperial Sugar Company. Franklin Lubojasky passed away November 2, 2004 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Clara Krolczyk Lubojasky; his parents; and a brother, Delton Lubojasky and a sister, Adela Lubojasky. Franklin is survived by his daughters, Kay Lowik and her husband, Mark, Becky Collum, Tina Layne and her husband, Doug; grandchildren, Randall Collum, Jr. and his wife, Lizzie, Frankie Collum, Krystal Lowik, Samantha Layne, Bridey Collum and Dana Layne; brother, Darvin Lubojasky and his wife, Betty, all of Sugar Land; his sister, Evelyn Spinks and her husband, Victor, of Deer Park; sister-in-law, Margie Lubojasky of Sugar Land; and other relatives and many friends. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, Rosenberg. Posted by Joy Neely
