On May 28, 1939, the former Miss Arby Weige and Mr. Lewellyn Luedecke were

much of her time there. That is where she met Lewellyn, when he came to work
for her father in 1934.
Arby did volunteer work in school and church. She was PTA president two
years, and helped with many school activities, probably serving on each
committee and holding each office in PTA at one time or another, while the
children were attending school in Industry and Bellville. She and Mr.
Luedecke owned and operated L.J. Luedecke Texaco in Industry.
Mrs. Luedecke enjoyed traveling, arts and crafts, flowers, and making items
from wood and steel, etc. Arby taught Sunday School for at least thirty-five
years. She has assisted with Bible School, and was active on committees at
the Industry Methodist Church.
Arby Weige Luedecke died Friday, September 10, 2004 in Lake Jackson.
