John was a typically reserved man. One could sense, upon meeting him, that he had a heart much larger than life. As you got to know him, you could always look forward to a captivating story he was ready to share. His skills were endless and his craftsmanship showed in everything he accomplished. John's handshakes and his words were as binding as any contract and he was a rock in a storm. His charming personality could make anyone feel as though they had known him a lifetime. John loved to cook and enjoyed his front porch in his rocking chair watching his birds and the sunset in the west. He would always welcome his friends to his ranch to share in food, fellowship and tall tales. John was taken too soon, but he is now in spirit with his mother and father. John R.
