Funeral services for Louise Miller, 65, of Wallis were held Saturday, March 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. Chuck Biggs officiating. Louise was cremated following the services and her ashes were spread near the Chattahoochee River in Alabama with her husband's ashes where they both loved to fish. Louise Miller was born in Granite Falls, North Carolina to parents Donald and Nora Lee (Carrigan) McCrary. She was raised in Granite Falls and Moravian Falls, North Carolina. She was married to John Miller on May 8, 1995 with a ceremony held in Ringgold, Georgia. They made their home in Dothan, Alabama until August 2002 when John died and Louise came to live with her sister and brother-in-law, Warren and Phyllis Monesko. Louise Miller died March 9, 2004 in Richmond. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Monesko and husband Warren of Sealy; two brothers, Harold McCrary and wife Jackie of Lincolnton, North Carolina and Wade L. Carrigan and wife Susie of Fairfield, California; stepchildren, Steve of Rome, Georgia, Joe of Anderson, Illinois, Tony of Rome, Georgia, Chris of Dothan, Alabama, John, II of Winter Haven, Florida, Vickie of Indiana, and Ike. She is preceded in death by her husbnd, John Miller and stepson, Mark. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Sealy. Posted by Joy Neely
