Funeral services for Alois Mlcak, 86, of Frydek were held on Thursday May
13, 2004, from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frydek at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
Bernard Snock celebrating the funeral mass and rite of committal. Interment
was in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Frydek.
Alois was born in Frydek to parents Joe Mlcak and Josephine Pavlicek Mlcak.
He was raised in the Frydek area and attended St. Mary's Catholic School and
Frydek Public School. On July 22, 1941 he married Stasie Mlcak in Frydek.
Alois was a farmer and rancher all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's
Catholic Church and the K.J.T.
Alois Mlcak died on Monday May 10, 2004 in Houston.
He is survived by his daughter Edith Strieder and husband Jimmie of Frydek;
son David Mlcak and wife Sylvia of Frydek; Brother Edward Mlcak of
Gordonville; grandchildren David Mlcak Jr., Victoria Rose Mlcak, Jimmy Lee
Strieder, Karen Marie Strieder, and Shari Lynn Strieder; and great grandson
Matthew Mlcak.
Alois was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Josephine Mlcak; and his
wife Stasie Mlcak.
Funeral services were under the direction of Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel,
Sealy.
