Grave side services for Mary E. Morgan, 90, of Sealy were held at
11 a.m. Sunday, March 7, 2004, at the Sealy Cemetery with the Rev.
David Dunn officiating.
The former Miss Mary Elizabeth Browning was born to parents James
Madison and Anna Elizabeth Letterman Browning in Verona, Missouri.
She was raised and graduated from High School in Verona, Missouri.
On August 7, 1937, she married Ralph F. Morgan in Kansas City,
Missouri and was a homemaker. Mary and Ralph lived in Houston from
1952 until 1978, moved to Bellville for 14 years and then moved to
Sealy. Mrs. Morgan was an avid golfer scoring six holes-in-one in
her lifetime. She died Friday, March 5, 2004, in Tomball.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Mary Beth Covey
and husband Norm of Magnolia, Gail Allen of Chattanooga, Tennessee,
Eddie Morgan and wife Patty of Marietta, Georgia and Stan Morgan amd
wife Mary of
Chesterfield Missouri; grandchildren Marla Mundheim of Grapevine,
Richard Ty Morgan of Overland Park, Kansas, Mary Anne McAdams of
Flower Mound, Texas, Jim Morgan of Birmingham, Alabama, Ben Covey of
Magnolia, Texas, Carol Covey also of Magnolia, Corey Geer of
Haverhill, Maine, and John Hintz of Amarillo, Texas;
great-grandchildren Morgan Mundheim, Skyler Geer, Mary Elizabeth
Morgan, Madelyn Anne McAdams and Hallie Brooke Morgan. Funeral
services were held under the direction of the Knesek Family Funeral
Chapel of Sealy.
