Funeral services for Henry Nowak, 90, of the Mixville Community were held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at the Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev. Dale Leland officiating. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery.
Pallbearers for the services were Craig Bigger, Kenneth Bigger, Walter Meyer, Will Dujka, Mark Dujka and Melvin Klatt.
Henry Nowak was born to parents William and Alvina Braden Nowak in Mixville.
He was raised in Mixville, attended school in Mixville and spent his entire life as a farmer and rancher in Mixville. He was a member of the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge in Sealy.
Henry Nowak died Sunday, March 14, 2004 in Houston.
Survivors include his sisters Alice Nowak of Mixville and Pauline Reed of Sealy; nieces Billie Jean Nowak of Houston, Jo Ann Bigger of Houston and Shirley Moore of Conroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Alvina Nowak; sisters Annie Carey, Josephime Warner and Hattie Capps; and brothers Andrew, W.J. and Alvin Nowak.
Funeral services ere held under the direction of the Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel of Sealy.
