Sharon Elaine Owens went to be with our Lord on October 19, 2004 after a
long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Sharon was born on July 12, 1946 to Maj. Frank Edward Klein, Jr. and Mildred
Posey Klein in San Antonio. She attended Sul Ross State Univeristy where she
met the love of her life, Woody Owens.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Woody Owens; daughters, Kristin Owens and
Jacki Owens Etheredge and her husband, Steven; grandsons, Owen Rush
Etheredge and her mother, Mildred Posey Klein.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Throughout Sharon's illness, she displayed tremendous courage and strength.
Sharon touched many lives and was truly an angel on earth.
Sharon's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Colonial Belle
Nursing Home in Bellville; Dr. Don Bosse; and all those who took such
wonderful care of her during her battle.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Sharon's
memory to Colonial Belle Nursing Home, 108 N. Baron, Bellville, TX 77418.
A memorial service will be scheduled and held at a later date to celebrate
the life of Sharon at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio. God has a new
angel.
