Funeral services for Betty Peters, 86, of Highlands, formerly of Bellville, were on Saturday Feb. 7, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Knesek Family Funeral Chapel in Bellville with Mr. Robert Mersmann officiating.

Internment was in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. 

Serving as pallbearers were Neil Phillips II, Neil Phillips, Johnny Blau, Brian Mersmann, Pete Kaminsky and Larry Mersmann.

Betty Bernice Peters was born in Brookshire to parents Paul and Else
(Bolten) Mueller. She was raised in Waller County and attended school in San Felipe and Peters-Hacienda.

Betty was married to Frank Peters on Aug. 22, 1936 in Peters, at the
Methodist Church. Betty was a homemaker all her life and was a member on Trinity Lutheran Church in Sealy.

Betty Bernice Peters died on Wednesday Feb. 4, 2004 in Highlands.

She is survived by her daughter, Lucille Clement and husband Gaston of Highlands; grandchildren, Audra Wadley and husband Eddie, and Neil Phillips and wife Kim; great grandchildren, Neil Phillips III, and Sarah Phillips.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Mueller, granddaughter Dawn Clement, great grandson Lance Clement, sister Mildred Mersmann, and brothers Innes and Wesley Mueller.

Funeral Services were under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels of Bellville.
