Funeral services for Arthur F. Pulos, 84, of Sealy were held at 1 p.m.,
Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Sealy with the Rev.
Bernard Snock officiating. Interment was in the Sealy Cemetery. Pallbearers
for the service were Mike Feland, Randy Reichardt, Ryan Reichardt, Elvin
Bassett, Wilbert Janecek, Jr. and Perry Strauss.
Arthur Francis Pulos was born in West Bridgewater, Mass. He was raised in
Stonehan, Mass. and also graduated from public school in Stonehan. Mr. Pulos
served his country during World War II in the United States Army where he
was awarded the Purple Heart Medal.
On September 7, 1949, he married the former Miss Barbara K. O'Brien in
Malden, Mass. and worked for the Naval Civil Service at the Boston Naval
Shipyard for 33 years as a machinist.
Mr. Pulos died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in Sealy.
Survivors include his children and their spouses, Karen Clifford and
husband, Paul, of Holbrook, Mass., Doreen Lynch and husband, Bob, of Pelham,
New Hampshire, Mark Pulos of Sealy, Steven Pulos of Biddeford, Maine, and
Ronald Pulos of Charlestown, Mass.; sister, Emily Preibisch of Sealy;
grandchildren, Mark D. and Scott J. Clifford, Shannon, Steven, Amanda, Amy,
Matthew A. and Emily E. Pulos, Thomas and Brendan Lynch; and three great
gandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his foster parents, George and Mary Johnson;
wife, Barbara K. Pulos; daughter, Barbara Pulos; and grandchild, Paul
Clifford.
Funeral services were held under the direction of the Knesek Family Funeral
Chapel of Sealy.
