Funeral services for Wayne Reber,
57, of Wallis were held on Friday Feb. 13, 2 p.m. at Christian City
Fellowship Church in Sealy with Mr. Eldon Scheffer officiating.
Interment was in the Hartsville Cemetery near Wallis.
Serving as pallbearers were Brian Kovar, Eddie
Moore, Ken Kovar, Jonathan Sabrsula, Troy Watkins, and Ricky
Frederick.
Honorary pallbearers were Hunter and Hayden
Vykukal, Hannah Reber, and Allan Kovar.
Wayne Jackson Reber was born in Alvin to parents George and Ruth
(Wise) Reber. He was raised in Pearland and attended school there.
Wayne married Loyce Ann Reber on Feb. 22, 1975 in Sealy. He worked
in the oil industry in sales and service of oil field equipment.
Wayne was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sealy. Wayne
Jackson Reber died on Monday Feb. 9, 2004 in Houston.
He is survived by his wife Loyce Reber; daughter Kimberley Vykukal
and husband Joe; sons Jason Reber and wife Karey, and Jamie Reber
all of Wallis; sister Ruthie Buckingham and husband Jay of Corpus
Christi; brother Raymond Reber and wife Jean of Manville; and the
apples of his eye, his grandchildren, Hunter and Haydon Vykukal, and
Hannah Reber.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents,
George and Ruth Reber, and sister June Tips.
