Nadine Robinson, 75, of Brenham, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2004 in Tomball Regional Hospital. Nadine was born November 6, 1928 in Denton, to Warren and Rosa Rosson Pope. She was a graduate of Alvarado High School and of East Texas Baptist University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. On September 4, 1949, she married the Rev. Alvin Robinson in Alvarado. She was active in her husband's ministry, which included First Baptist Church in Brenham from 1965 - 1979. Nadine also taught English at Brenham High School, worked in the adult probation office, and worked for Texas Eastern Oil and Gas Company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her loving family includes daughter, Glenda Burleson and husband Ed of Tomball; sons, Keith Robinson of Newport News, Virginia, Mark Robinson and wife Roberta of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Stacy Pepper and husband Bruce, Michelle Burleson, Jennifer, Ethan, Austin, and Brittany Robinson, Taylor and Jordan Clark, Mikayla Robinson; great granddaughter, Ashley Marie Pepper; sister, Aleyne Walker of Alvarado; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Nadine was preceded in death by parents, husband, granddaughter Sarah Robinson, and one sister. Visitation was Thursday, September 16, from 6-8 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were Friday, September 17, 2004 at 10 a.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Embry officiating. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. in Brazoria Cemetery, Brazoria. Pallbearers were Bruce Pepper, James Bush, Taylor Clark, Jordan Clark, Ronald Walker, Richard Skipper. Memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church, Arthritis Foundation, or American Diabetes Association. Funeral services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St.,Brenham.
