Funeral Services for Miss Leona Roesler, 89, of Nelsonville, were held
Friday, October 29, 2004, at 10 a.m. from Nelsonville Brethren Church with
the Rev. Mike Groseclose officiating. Interment was at National Cemetery
near Nelsonville. Serving as pallbearers were George Tiel, Delvin J. Syptak,
Leeland Schramm, Leebert Brune, Charlie Zettel and Alfred A. Zettel.
Honorary pallbearer Edwin Kuehn.
Born in Nelsonville, Leona Ida Roesler was the daughter of Robert Roesler
and Eleonora Wotipka Roesler. Early in Leona's life, as a child, she worked
on a big family farm, helping her family with all the work, raising farm
animals and different
