Adele Gueldner Siptak, age 104, of Brenham and formerly of Greenvine passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2004 in Trinity Medical Center. Adele was born June 2, 1900 in the Welcome community to William and Louise Gueldner. On October 26, 1926 she was united in marriage to Ed Siptak in Welcome Lutheran Church by Rev. Jacob Appel. She attended school at Welcome and later moved to Wesley and then to Greenvine where they farmed for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, flowers, baking, reading and working puzzles. Adele is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ed on July 21, 2001, four sisters and one brother. Her survivors include son, Floyd Siptak and wife Nina of Navasota; daughter, Bobbie Faye Kroll and husband Melvin of Hempstead; grandchildren, Brenda and John Clark, Darrell and Tiffany Kroll, Dale Kroll, Pam and Danny Kniffin, Keith and Jeannie Kroll, Tracy and Shannon White; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with the Siptak family was from 6:30 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004 at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2004 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Greenvine with the Rev. Pamela Werrell officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons and honorary pallbearers were her great grandchildren. Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or charity of your choice.
