Graveside services for Cleo SoRelle, 79, of Round Top were held Monday, October 4, 2004 at 1 p.m. from Isaac Hill Cemetery in Round Top with Chaplain Stuart Young officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Ronnie Herzog, Kenneth Herzog, Kevin Herzog, Michael Holditch, James Holditch, Wayne Benson and Mark Stewart. Cleo SoRelle was born in Mountainburg, Arkansas to Jesse Lloyd and Cora Belle Satterfield Osburn. At the age of 5 years she moved from Mountainburg with her parents to Houston, Texas. She attended Jefferson Davis High School and was a 1942 graduate. In Houston on August 3, 1944, Cleo Osburn was married to Walter SoRelle. She was a secretary in the oil and gas industry and then was employed as a tax clerk with the Fayette County Appraisal District. She had many hobbies and interests. Quilting was her passion. Cleo also enjoyed crochet, cross stitch and was quite a good artist. Her main love was caring for Walter and bragging about her great-grandkids. Cleo SoRelle died Thursday, September 30, 2O04 in La Grange. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Walter SoRelle of Round Top, Texas; daughters, Linda Kaye Herzog of Tomball, Karen Sue Stewart and husband Clark of Magnolia; brother, Carlton Lloyd Osburn and wife Sue of Alma, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ronnie W. Herzog, Jr. of Round Top, Kenneth E. and Sherry Herzog of Spring, Kevin L. Herzog of Tomball, Mark Ryan Stewart of Magnolia, Michael R. Holditch of Houston, James N. Holditch of Austin, Jane Anne and Wayne Benson of Houston, and Amy Sue Flerron of Tomball; and great grandchildren, Kasey Kathleen Herzog of College Station, Sarah Inez Herzog of Spring, Megan Kay Herzog of Spring, Hope Megan Holditch of Houston, Jakob Rion Benson of Houston, and Sierra Jane Herron of Tomball. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Cora Osburn and sister, Evelyn Osburn. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels, Bellville. Posted by Joy Neely
