Bellville Times Maybel H. Troop, 91, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2004 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. Maybell was born in Bellville, Texas on July 27, 1912 to Mr. and Mrs. William Hildebrandt. She graduated from Bellville High School. After moving to Houston, she married M.T. Mike Hodes in 1934, then moved to Corpus Christi in 1944 and later to Harlingen in 1948. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and Harlingen Country Club. After the death of Mr. Hodes in 1975, she married Oren B. Troop in 1978. Maybell is survived by numerou
